AbbyWilde.com is live!
Welcome to my website, everybody! It's been a long time coming and but I'm very proud of it. So, now that I'm here, and you're here, let's catch up!
I write this to you from my very warm apartment in the middle of a very cold Brooklyn winter; I moved to New York in October of 2013! At least, I tried. Two days later I got a call to come back to Los Angeles for a call back, and later that week I was offered the role of Annie Dunne in The Steward of Christendom at the Mark Taper Forum. Back to Los Angeles I went for a fantastic experience working with Steven Robman and Brian Dennehy under the auspices of the lovely people at Center Theatre Group (hi guys!). I had a blast, and moved to New York (for real, this time) in January of '14.
My first year in New York was an adventure with a learning curve, but I'm proud to say I closed it in triumph; just this past January, I made my New York debut playing Lucetta in the Red Monkey Theater Group's all-female production of Two Gentlemen of Verona. I'm sad that it's over, but I'm not gonna lie; I'm deeply eager to see what 2015 has to offer; at the time of this writing, I've already attended 25 auditions this year alone! It's gonna be a good year; I can feel it.
